Our Quality Teaching Staff |

All teachers in our 5 centres are graduates who are trained, have at least 3 years’ teaching experience and are either current or ex-teachers.
The NIE qualified teachers are experienced and specialize at their school levels besides being conversant with the latest syllabus.
We have editors, authors and publishers of maths text and assessment books, teachers of Maths Olympiad, Honours graduates, scholars amongst our teaching staff.
The teachers are specially selected for their passion in maths, dedication and commitment. All are contracted to TMS to ensure continuity. They are friendly, approachable and caring teachers who also help students with their school work. |

Saira Manning |
|
| |
Completed her Certificate in Education (N.I.E.) in 1991 and Bachelor of Art (Curtin Uni.) in 2003. Her 16 years of teaching in both primary and secondary schools in Singapore has included writing the P6 Maths curriculum for Tampines North Primary, training in using the model drawing method for solving Maths Problems and providing extra tutoring for students. Saira is an accomplished educator with demonstrated ability to teach, motivate and direct students while maintaining high interest and achievement.

Usha Raj |

Graduated in 1988 with a Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education and is currently completing a Bachelor in Early Childhood at Monash Uni. She has nearly 20 years of on-going experience teaching students from early primary to secondary in local schools and has a particular interest in Special Needs and Maths.

Satwinder Kaur |

Graduated in 1997 with a Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education. She loves Maths and enjoys teaching the subject. She delights in fostering a positive attitude towards Maths amongst her “I hate Maths” pupils. |

Lim Siow Chin |

Graduated from the National Institute of Education with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in 1999. She started teaching in primary schools in 1999. She has been a class teacher for P1 to P5. As a class teacher, she planned and designed the lessons and set the test papers. |

Lim Tuan Ben |

| |
Has 25 years of teaching experience in secondary schools. He has taught Elementary and Additional Maths for Sec 1 to Sec 5. After his retirement, he has continued to be a relief teacher and tutors for CDAC, tuition centres and gives private tuition. |

Klaus Loh Soon Yip |

Has more than 5 years MOE school teaching experience at both lower and upper primary and is currently teaching in a local neighbourhood school. Prior to joining the teaching force, he spent several years conducting individual and group tuition in both English and Maths from P1 to “A” level. He has an active interest in finding the best teaching practices in group dynamics and children learning methods. He believes that every child can do his or her best if he or she is willing to work at it and be confident and that the child should be given every possibility to succeed by his or her own milestone. |

Mani Maran |

Graduated from the Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electronics and worked as an IT professional for 2 years before deciding to move on to Education. After graduating from N.I.E. in 2000, he worked in government schools, such as River Valley Primary School and Radin Mas Primary School teaching mainly English, Maths and Science. His passion for Maths drove him to become a full-time Maths Teacher at The Maths Solution. |

Ramona Kamis |

Graduated from National Institute of Education in 1994 and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Special Education. She is a very experienced teacher, having taught for the past 15 years in both mainstream and special schools. At present she is teaching Maths to MOE primary school students. |

Gopi Krishnan |

| |
Taught Additional and Elementary Mathematics at Yishun Town Secondary School for 14.5 years from 1988 to 2002. He is currently teaching GCE 'O' level Elementary Mathematics in a private school and conducting Maths Enrichment courses and Maths Olympiad courses at various primary and secondary schools in Singapore. He has also written and published assessment books for SNP Panpac and Marshall and Cavendish.

Rohini d/o Balasubramaniam |

Has worked for IBM and other IT companies. Later she trained as a teacher and qualified to teach Maths and Physics. She has taught in Junior Colleges and secondary schools. More recently she has pursued Maths as a tutor at primary and secondary levels. She has also conducted classes for SINDA. At The Maths Solution Rohini has found the maths teaching an enriching experience and has been pleased by the progress her students make. |
